About Us

The Basics: We are Missionaries. In Training. This has a double meaning – 1. We are Missionaries full time, and we serve at the YWAM Montana campus which focuses primarily on training people in various areas of ministry. As staff we are a part of providing that training. 2. We are also ‘Missionaries in training’ ourselves. God is always training us as we submit our lives to Him as disciples. Although we invest our time training students in the School of Worship each year and many other things too, personally we are always trying to better ourselves and ask God to change and mold us to reflect Jesus.

We are full time missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) serving on the Lakeside campus in Western Montana. Combined we have 16 years missionary experience and have done ministry in 14 countries.

In Montana, we lead the Worship department which means we run a 5-month-long School of Worship (SOW) once a year, and the rest of the year do various things on and off campus to bless our staff/students and the local community. We have 3 full time Worship department staff who serve with us.

Theron has been at YWAM Montana for 8 years. He’s served on staff with the SOW for 5 of those years, leading the last 3 schools (SOW is a training program for those called to worship ministry). He worked in YWAM Montana’s professional Recording Studio for about 18 months and also did YWAM’s 9-month School of Biblical Studies (SBS). He is growing and developing as a leader and meets with a mentor every week to be discipled and challenged in his walk with the Lord. He did his DTS in Montana in Fall 2003.

Nicola has been at YWAM Montana for 6 years. She was the head Registrar (Admissions Office) for 2 and a half years, taking all potential students through the application process and being responsible for international visas for our staff and students. She joined the Worship Department in 2009 and works administratively on all their material. She is currently a full time mom but fits in various administrative jobs for the Worship department and YWAM Montana office. She has also done various schools with YWAM including, TESOL, SBS and Titus Project. She did her DTS in Holland in Fall 2001.

Vienna was born Sept 2nd 2010. She is a very happy girl who was walking before she was 1. She is very smart and observant. She laughs a lot and loves reading books.
